River Valley Builders was established in 2016, since then we have built dozens of high quality homes throughout the Salida, CO region. Whether you are pursuing a custom home, a simplified semi-custom package or a completed home for sale we hope to be able to meet your needs.

Tre Scott
Owner // Project Management, Sales, Estimating, Design
Having grown up in the building industry and working various trades, Tre attended CSU and earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. After working in commercial construction the desire to be involved in the actual craft of building drew him back into residential work. He is passionate about residential design, integrating new technologies and advanced building that integrates effective materials and methods. He sees every project as an opportunity to build 100+ year homes due to their thoughtful design and quality construction. Outside of building he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 (+1 on the way) children, mountain biking and raising food on their small farmstead.
On your project you can expect to work with Tre initially on estimating, design work and finish selections. During the project he stays involved in overall direction, ensuring project specifications are met, cost control, as well as client invoicing and communications.
Nick Lombardi
Owner // On-Site Superintendent, Project Management, Sales, Advertising & Marketing
Born and raised in Colorado, Nick’s first job was working with his dad building log and timberframe homes. After graduating from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a degree in Economics/Business, Nick immediately obtained his real estate license and went to work with a boutique Commercial Real Estate brokerage in Denver. When the housing market crashed, Nick took on the massive task of listing and selling foreclosed properties on behalf of corporate financial institutions. As the housing market returned, Nick fix-and-flipped numerous homes bringing old and tired properties back to life. In 2015, Lombardi entered the new construction industry full-time as a licensed and insured General Contractor, building and selling custom homes throughout the Colorado Mountains. Today, Nick and his family are proud to call Salida home, where he puts his construction expertise and real estate knowledge to work building homes in the gorgeous Upper Arkansas River Valley. Nick loves being outside, fishing, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
Nick is your “boots on the ground” contact. He works hand-in-hand with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and materials, ensuring your home goes from drawings-to-done in an efficient manner.
